An investigation by The Nation and Type Investigations raises questions about the effectiveness of new global brand standards in reducing and responding to harassment at the fast food giant.
They only made the commitment to appease the political climate and earn points with the public. It’s important to keep us distracted from all the corporate bullshit. They’re just doing it again now that there’s a new climate.

Called it
When Cervantez requested that McDonald’s reveal the standards publicly as part of her lawsuit, McDonald’s argued that they must remain under seal, claiming that they are trade secrets that give the company a “competitive advantage.”
The competitive advantage is they do nothing and claim they are not liable for anything, thereby saving cost.

Yeah I don’t think proving or trying to prove systematic negligence is tilting at windmills.
I just like the idea of someone named Cervantes trying to accomplish the impossible.
Maybe I’m not as funny as I think I am, maybe I used tilting at windmills wrong since corporate malfeasance isn’t an imaginary problem.
Oh, no that would be funny if i made the connection to the author. Did not remember his name.
