Finally swatching fountain pen inks, they look good like this

(they’re way more saturated on the image compared than in reality)

    Emerald of Chivor looks amazing too with the shimmer (sadly we can’t see as well on the video

Here is a description of the content: Video of a swatch of the Emerald of Chivor ink (by Jacques Herbin). There are small particles of golden glitter (called shimmer in the "fountain pen jargon")

    @Theotime812 @fountainpens

    The #swatching looks beautiful for sure! Can you tell me, please, how did you create this “frame” around the #ink ? It worked out really well.

    I love #Diamine inks, but I don’t use them much these days because they are difficult by now to get locally (I’m living in Germany) and I prefer that above shipping whenever possible. But alas, it’s always nice to see their current inks and I am glad people such as you share theirs here on Mastodon!

      Thanks!

      I used these swatch papers, there’s a part around the paper that doesn’t absorb ink

      Never found them in physical store sadly, but I’m in France so maybe you’ll have more luck

        This is honestly fascinating, I would have never expected there would be a dedicated product for doing ink swatches… was I living under a rock, or is this a new thing? o:

            I see. I am into this for… oh my, I am back into writing with fountain pens for more than a decade now. I am using them daily, but I am not often look into supplies other than ink and usable paper, I guess. But be that as it may, you found it first and showed me, and therefor thank you! c:
