In Mormonism, angels are spirits that have yet to be born or have already lived their life.
It’s also a fairly common interpretation for a fair number of american Protestants. Actually, a lot of Mormonism is just taking various implicit assumptions and folk doctrine in mainstream US Protestantism and “officially” codifying it as holy text.
although I’ve met sooooo many yankees who, for all practical purposes, might as well believe the United States is the Holy Land. Mormons are just more upfront about it.

Unfortunately, I can’t seriously discuss Mormonism. It is too ridiculous even in the context of Abrahamic religions.
I mean they’re all fairy tales in the end, but there are different levels of ridiculousness
