One of the first things i learned about Firefox is that extensions don’t work on an iPhone, they’re simply not available. I’ve been using Firefox since forever both on pc and mobile. In the past few days, after the TOS fiasco, i’ve been looking around for another browser for my iPhone and i stumbled upon Orion by Kagi and to my surprise they let you install extensions from the official Firefox add-ons page and they work, too. I’ve always read that the app for iOS was just a “reskin” of Safari but is actually true? Are they just being lazy not to allow extensions on iOS? Did Apple put a gun on their heads and told them not to do that?

All mobile browsers on IOS are “reskins” of safari because of Apple’s development restrictions. I use Orion with uBO, Firefox Focus, and Safari with Adguard and Hush content blockers.
