It’s been just seven weeks since Donald Trump moved to the White House, and voters’ disapproval of Elon Musk’s work and for Donald Trump is climbing, according to a new survey

Summary

A Quinnipiac University poll shows 60% of registered voters disapprove of Elon Musk’s DOGE amid mass federal job cuts.

Over half believe DOGE is harming the country, and only 36% support Musk’s aggressive downsizing. Trump’s approval also declined, with 53% disapproving of his presidency and 54% unhappy with his economic policies.

Legal challenges have forced rehiring of some workers, but DOGE layoffs could reach 300,000.

High-profile officials, including Marco Rubio, have criticized Musk’s approach, prompting presidential intervention.

I’d also be interested to see approval rating amongst the people who actually voted for him (or claim to have).
