      Oh it’s real. There was a big collect at my sons school, with each kid bringing about a dozen eggs.

      This was after a documentary on tv which moved a lot of people called “un oeuf is not enough” showing american families not able to afford eggs

        Here in the Midwest we generally have our family egg for lunch on Sunday. Ever since Grandad passed we’ve been able to make thicker slices, but Sissy’s little one is getting to the age that we’re going to have to go back to thinner slices soon. We’re just fortunate that we’re able to get our weekly egg, so we’re not complaining.
