A creator got impersonated and a fan scammed out $17k. The detective even shows the creator an AI video impersonation. I can easily spot it as a fake but in a few years it’ll be nearly impossible.
Happy ending. The victim got scammed $17k for a custom table she never got and the creator surprised her with her desired dream table.
That’s it, I’m only communicating with people that I can physically slap at the time of communication. Hopefully that buys me at least a decade.
