Our unplanned ensemble performance happened in a train car when we were already returning from the contest in Truskavets. We just wanted to share a piece of Ukrainian song on the way. Because when you enter the wagon with such “luggage”, many people are surprised and don’t understand what we carry - so we decided to introduce people to the live sound of bandura.
Some of the passengers said they heard the bandura only on TV or radio, and live - never. But not everyone liked our idea: one woman got angry, called first the conductor and then the train chief. And you know what? Instead of banning, we got permission to perform the song.
And she has spoken out. Sincerely, from the heart, as always. Because music is not an obstacle. This is a touch to the soul.
Thank you for such employees
The kids near the end were pretty cute. Their demeanor is weird in the way that I often see in kids who have been given a Task that they are taking seriously. It’s cute
So is their teacher in the middle? Seem to be all young girls except one woman. Also is this only instrument played by women? Pretty wish video was lomger.
