I vote for calling it the Gulf of Canada Highway
It’s already mostly called the Alcan in the US.
Alaska needs trucks traveling through BC far more than Vancouver needs tourists from Alaskan cruises.
If that’s what they’re leading with it seems safe to say they’ve got nothing.
I’m no cruise expert or avid cruise traveller, but skipping Victoria or Vancouver just sounds like it would make the cruise’s programming less appealing even if it wasn’t a mandatory rule.
