The truth is, it’s smaller actions that will have the real effects. If trump were to drop dead this minute, the fascism would not end. It might receed as they regroup, but has sunk deep into American life now. It is that societal malaise that is driving this, and trump and his cronies are just symptoms of it. The only way that will change is by the steady, hard, work of individuals like you reaching out to the people you can reach, helping them to see that there is a better way, and helping them embrace it. It is by building a groundswell of support like that, that the poison can be neutralized and American life brought back from the brink. In doing so, you deprive fascism of the one thing it mist needs: the appearance of strength.

Leave them, and they can easily be swept up by those offering the illusion of strength and power. Instead you, and people like you, need to be talking to them, pkanting the seeds of doubt in their minds, showing them that this is all a sham, that there is a better way. Build support, and support each other. As the numbers grow it will become less and less comfortable for those who support fascism to express that in public. American fascism will fall, of that I am certain. The only questions are when, and how much damage it does in falling. If enough of the American public can find common cause and work together they can bring that moment forward, and minimise the damage. We have been trying to reach the apathetic for many years now. Most won’t be moved until they feel pain. Everyone’s retirement is dependent on the status quo. People will wake to action when they now have no comfortable future. I feel so crazy and depressed after trying reason with these folks for a near decade now. I think most would remain docile fucks no matter what happens to others. They need to feel the pain personally. Strip them of their retirement and healthcare.
I know this won’t go away with his death. We need to gut the wealthy. Special attention to all the top player’s family trees. Uproot them, and burn every leaf. Their wealth should have no person, or institution, alive to use it.
Burn down their estates. Scuttle their yachts. Destroy every place of posh pleasure.
