God YouTube is a hellhole. Don’t get me started on how much unprompted animal cruelty YouTube shorts serves me. Literally just got a discusting video that opens with a close up of someone squashing bees with their finger. Serial killer shit.
Is the ‘animal cruelty’ taking place the mere mention of eating chicken sandwiches, which makes you sad? Are you the animal suffering from cruelty? Is the feeling so intense you had to come post about it here? Help me understand this post.
Not entirely, it’s the combination of that and the squashing of live animals I mentioned in the body of the post. I’m sure if someone was gloating about eating puppies on a video about someones pet dog it would be considered mentions of animal cruelty, yes?
It doesn’t make me sad, it makes me roll my eyes with annoyance because it’s the same obnoxious shit carnists feel like they need to tell anyone within reach of a cute animal video that involves someones pet chickens, sheep, cows or pigs.
It’s definitely in poor taste and juvenile, to say the least. Fair enough.
