      No, I think we trust the swedes more than anyone else. Their defence is well integrated to ours, but they are not well equipped to handle the threat scenario we worry about.

          Why would the Russians come overseas? I assume they are hooking around the south. (This is a classic Finnish military joke made when the enemy is not approaching from the east)

          Well, the strategy of the Finnish navy is to make use of the very complex and rocky Finnish archipelago with small nimble ships and mine the living shit out of the Finnish gulf. There are also missile batteries and mobile artillery around the coastline.

          The big challenge without the Swedes would be keeping the supply lines open. The Swedish air and naval assets would be essential in ensuring that.
