While i was a staunch “anti-ml” last year and seemed to believe that HB/ML was incredibly toxic, i’ve found it more friendly and healthy to be on in comparison to the other instances, largely because i actually decided to listen to what you had to say for once :) The others feel just infested with toxicity and fascists like the user above

Aww, thanks comrade! That’s again very sweet of you to say. I know it’s easy to say “just don’t care about them,” but I absolutely did used to care even knowing that. They got under my skin, frustrated me, and angered me. My solution was just to read more and actually start organizing IRL, to essentially prove to myself that I do indeed generally know what I’m talking about and that it’s the reactionaries that are wrong. Not caring about them is a skill that takes everyone a varying degree of time to overcome, for me it took a decent while.
One thing about yourself is that even when you were anti-ML, you still had it within you to desire to learn more and overcome your own biases. This is something internal to you and your character that has been a joy to see develop over time. I know we don’t likely 100% agree or anything, but I can trust that you’ll continue to grow and develop into an even better comrade over time, and I can only hope that I similarly grow and develop.

As a side note, have you seen The Long 15? Looks like a great new mod, been meaning to dip back into New Vegas for a while now.
Actually i haven’t, lately i’ve been playing Tale of two wastelands using https://wastelandsurvival.guide/ , but just checking it, it looks like a good mod. I love they include old shady-sands style NCR settlements, like how Fo1/Fo2 actually did it, and they make an NCR settlement actually living places that you’d imagine how a west coast game would look. I used to always include those old NCR style buildings mod just for lore accuracy and the fact they’re pretty lol
I don’t think i’ve ever seen such a large mod either, but clearly they put tons of effort and thought into it, + a lot of patches even for TTW! so i’m confident it’ll work well, i’d say it’s worth giving a good shot; sounds exciting

Love the wasteland survival guide! Had an awesome run with it about a year ago. The mod just has Baker and the surrounding areas, so no Hub, Boneyard, or Dayglow as far as I know, but it’s very high quality from what I’ve seen! I actually played through The Frontier out of morbid curiosity when it came out, bigger isn’t always better, but the Long 15 seems to be really nice! There’s also more Brahmin Baron content, NCR corruption, etc.
😔 Ah well, still have to wait for a few more years for a Fo1/Fo2 remake mod. Thanks for teaching me about the Long 15 though, i’ll 100% play it next playthrough! ❤️
