I hear it’s good to take money away from consumers during a recession.
i don’t have student loans because the academic system decided that i seemed like i’d be a particularly committed pawn of the capitalist system of education and production. joke’s on them, grad school destroyed my brain, i’m extremely unemployable and also don’t have debts. sometimes i feel better about not contributing income because they wasted all this time training me to be a person that could help develop novel war crimes, and i’m just not doing it.
We love a non war crime commiting king
Jokes on them, I’m basically unemployable and at this point I don’t even care anymore
Don’t fret, Biden is still hard at work finding excuses
Honestly I really don’t fuckin’ understand the point of this. I don’t have loans, but if I did I would essentially shift my income to something that literally couldn’t be garnished. Literally drugs, scrapping as a supplement, marketplace/craigs bullshit and living in a typical 9-persoon flophouse. I’ve had to do this shit before when I couldn’t find a job in a few areas I was in years ago lmao.
So many more people likely have a back-up structure or support and will probably just move from job to job and try to get unemployment by any means necessary so they don’t actually have to work for garnished wages. Or they just won’t work if they’re younger. Or, they’re already struggling and just end up homeless regardless. I mean a huge chunk of Gen-Z is already unemployed or partially-employed lmfao.
The only point of this is cruelty and generational warfare points.
Department of Labor announces 195,000 more workers added to the gig economy.
I don’t think that’s even what is gonna happen. Extra gigs can’t pay the rent when they’re being garnished. God forbid you have a medical emergency from working double what you used to while making less and less.
Just gonna end in homelessness, moving back in with parents/friends and more social murder.
cant garnish zero wages fuckers
