What is the point of posting an article which the majority of users cannot or will not read due to the paywall? Getting an archive link to post alongside it takes a few seconds.

However, I don’t see a paywall on the OP site, your archive link doesn’t load for me, and while both of our Lemmy accounts are 2 years old, you’ve contributed 5 posts to my 722. If every Lemmy user were as nice and respectful as you are here, I wouldn’t be or post here. But to answer your sassy question, I do still think there’s value in sharing this headline even under your questionable assumption of most people not being able to read the full link d/t paywall. The reason being, mainstream media does not cover all the news that’s important to people, and the OP site is a pretty credible source for a topic like this
