A ex-colleague of mine owned one of those. They are massive and really intimidating up close. That one was an absolute sweetheart though, very gentle.
I had one when I was a teenager. Super sweet, and very gentle, always laid on your feet when you sat down so he’d know when you moved. But if a rabbit or mole dared enter his yard, it was on.
Speaking of, I recommend watching Jet Li’s movie Fearless. A good watch if you’re into action/kung-fu films.
