YP supporters will be forced to choose between the two supposed co-leaders, after a week of yet more hostile briefings by each camp against the other’s figurehead, instead of a joint event depicting unity, if not personal then at least of purpose before the party’s founding conference.

What a clusterfuck of farcical proportions this whole thing has turned out to be.

im picking up the vibe of “hexbear supports sultana instead of Corbyn” which I got the last time this was posted about but which still confuses me because I have never seen her name mentioned before, or outside of, the context of “wrecking the new party” which was, i understood, Jeremy corbyn’s project to begin with

I must have missed the part where anybody explained any of that or explained why this person who seemed to appear out of the aether specifically to be involved in this controversy is more trustworthy than the person who literally started this party to begin with

If Jeremy “worse than Bernie Sanders, suddenly” Corbyn pledged to side with the landlords and bigots in the party he iirc started to combat the landlords and bigots then why hasn’t Sultana started her own party instead of whatever it is they’re both doing here if not to wreck it up, when it was, again, unless Im wrong, explicitly corbyn’s project to begin with

If Corbyn hit his head and turned into john fetterman people should have informed me

I guess I was offline the day this was being explained, too.

My vague understanding is that one of them had money and the other had a massive mailing list. I think that’s from trash future (November Kelly).

I don’t have the impression anyone had any good, strong ideas. Other than “let’s get out of the fucking labour party”. That’s a good start but I guess they figured the details would sort themselves out. No name; no platform, no internal structure. All the tensions of anticommunist leftwing parties.
