All the AI are wrong at least 1 in 20 tokens, probably more like 3 in 20, to their sample data which is also wrong a considerable amount of the time, so it is an expert in literally nothing and never will be.

That 1 in 20 number comes from the 2020 paper by OpenAI and the 2022 paper correcting it by Deepmind about AI scaling laws where the AI inverse error rate would never reach 94% with infnite training and power.

  • The bigger a company gets the more its operating costs, there is no such thing as guaranteed profits. On January 28th MSFT was $447.20, and on April 8th it was $354.56.

On December 10th 2021 it was worth $342.54 and on November 4th 2022 it was worth $221.39.

If it can lose a third of its value every couple of years at random then imagine what it will lose when this bubble pops. Solid chance this company only ever loses market share for the rest of time.

Anybody who buys now is a dumbass of the highest order.

  • Not really. It’s the same principle as being able and willing to defend yourself, or being antifascist. Those who bring violence and cause harm can no longer be tolerated, given concessions, or be treated amicably in any way.

I understand the whole Ghandi approach and “an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind”, I understand that Daryl Davis’ approach is effective to convert racists, but that only applies in the assumption that we all have protected human rights. We can’t afford to be converting racists 1 at a time when millions of victims are being sent off to labour camps for profit.

I feel like it unfortunately needs to be brought up that we should not let this event be used as a criticism of science, scientists, the scientific method, or indeed even scientific journals.

If it were considered theological scripture it would have taken centuries before somebody redacted it, and large parts of the religious community would refuse the new scripture regardless.

Science is still the best method for the pursuit of what is true.
