From the left:
- “I’m just happy to see you!!”
- “I’m sure it’s there somewhere”
- “Well ain’t that little fella cute”
- “Ok I’m mildly impressed”
- “Did you grow up next to a nuclear power plant?”
From the left:
You could say a lack of funds wasn’t in the… forecast.
At this point I’m fairly confident that they could find irrevocable proof that the 2024 election was a sham, and nothing would come of it.
Look up last week’s lottery numbers, then head back to last week.
I don’t wanna play the make money game anymore.
Maybe if you’re Mormon or bathing in it
No, but it can checks notes impress other rich people.
Eh, call it a boneappletea moment. Lion’s share.
Antisemitism is hostility toward or discrimination against Jews as a religious or racial group.
Zionism, Jewish nationalist movement with the goal of the creation and support of a Jewish national state in Palestine, the ancient homeland of the Jews (Hebrew: Eretz Yisraʾel, “the Land of Israel”)., where antizionism is the opposition to Israeli nationalism.
Everyone keeps conflating these two, and it’s quite annoying. And I’ll say it louder for the people in the back: OPPOSING ISRAEL’S INDISCRIMINATE GENOCIDE IS NOT ANTISEMITISM. It is in no reference to Jews, either as a religion or a race, it is towards the Israeli government and their nationalistic followers that allow for the slaughter of men, women, and children.
Here in the rural sticks, the realities don’t align. The fourth felt like a typical day in Mayberry. You see no evidence of the strife, ICE, any of it.
I’m fairly confident that’s intentional. I live in a rural CA mountain area, but we are close enough that we hear what’s going on. There have been small isolated instances here in our town, but no major raids that iI know of. My wife is 4th gen Mexican American, and her family back in LA is quite on edge. You don’t have to go far to find someone who is missing a friend/family/neighbor/etc. Some of whom are Americans. Yet I talk to one of my best friends that’s in the sticks of northern Colorado, nothing is happening up there.
My point here is that these raids are targeting blue cities/areas, and by leaving the mostly red strongholds alone, Fox et al can perpetuate that myth that everything is above board, and resistance is coming from the radical left. I’m fairly certain the administration would invite the incitation of civil unrest if only invoke martial law and the insurrection act, begin the “cleansing,” and suspend elections indefinitely. The only people I’ve met who would like to begin shooting are the gravy seal types. No one else wants this shit.
These teachers are just teaching from the same cloth they were taught from.
The teaching goals in this system are to teach obedience, not information. It’s highly useful when training the next generation of factory workers, not thinking individuals. The teachers are teaching a mindset.
And it varies from school to school, locale to locale. It depends on what the admin views as productive and necessary, almost like a culture in a sense, and is the difference between an inner city school vs a private elite school.
So apparently around Los Angeles there’s a supposed begging “cartel”, wherein some of the folks who beg at stoplights and freeway off ramps are actually working for an organized ring. The way it was explained was that this group takes the lionshare of their donations and offer protection, food, and safe sleeping areas. I don’t know how true this is, but I’ve heard it from quite a few unrelated people, one of which being a cop, so either there’s some truth to it or it’s a very elaborate hoax to get people to stop giving beggars money.
I’m pretty sure they’re just going after advertising on the front and data sales/AI on the back end. It’s inherently difficult to monetize an old-school internet forum, especially one like Reddit where the incumbent user base is vehemently opposed to adverts and in strong favor of privacy. I don’t think they’re too big to fail (cough Digg), they’re just popular and people dislike change. But I do think they’re barking up the wrong tree with their userbase.
The current account I have dates to 2015 before they required email, and they’ll get a throwaway before I give them one of my real ones. But even then, whatever, I’ve really only gone back there maybe once a week for the past few years.
Eh, to an extent. If they are original funders, I agree. But when you have people or groups buying rights to music/movies/tv/etc to claim royalties in perpetuity, especially after the original creatives die, those people can fall into a pit of uncapped rusty rebar.
Not enough clutching
They more just want to see people suffer, “for the lulz.”
I have a family friend who moved to Idaho to be around more like-minded people, as they put it. She thinks everything going on is comedy, and is getting a kick out of watching people lose their stuff over what Fox says isn’t happening. Her and her husband have their heads buried so far up their asses it’s insane. She also conveniently forgets her kids are half Hispanic (their bio dad is Mexican), and then wonders why they tell her to go fuck herself.
They’re just hoping Elysium becomes a thing sooner than later.
