So just now in my phone, the system UI, modem service, and other applications stopped working and after that my phone rebooted automatically. What happened there? It’s running Android 12.

Sounds like a system crash of some sort. I’ve had similar things happen with really bad crashes. Android recovers with a reboot in these cases.
It’ll do a reboot if there’s a bad crash of something important, I’ve had my S21 do that once or twice.
And I already scanned for malware and there’s nothing.
Don’t worry. Something crashed and got recovered by that reboot.
Have you tried restarting it?
It restarted automatically.
