So by adding “enrichment” to the torture program they’re preventing the harmful effects of being tortured for years? As opposed to just stopping the torture program?
I agree that solitary confinement is torture, but at least according to the article, this drastically cuts down on the length of time that people are put in solitary confinement, so harm reduction. It also appears to help them get out of prison sooner and handle things better when they get out.
