Whenever I read about Trump scamming his own MAGAs I remember an exchange I ahd back in 2015.
Trump had just admitted that his University was a complete scam and paid back the students who’d sued him.
I was online with a MAGat and pointed out that Trump had ripped off people who had believed his promises. This guy said that the students should have read the contracts they signed.
They can know he’s a crook and still love him.
They wish they could be like him. They want to deal unfairly with folks without repercussions. They would love to grift and rob and pillage all the people they feel they are better than. They wish they could rape and never answer for their crimes. They wish they could rape children and just get away with it.
That makes sense.
